A Solo-preneur had a hard time taking a photo to display products on her online shop. She wanted clean and professional photos at a relatively quick pace in only a small batch. No problem!
Upon receiving samples for a trial test, I quickly realized that not only are these soaps of the high-quality, hand-crafted kind, but they are also unique in design and have beautiful aromas of the natural ingredients that went into making the soaps. Plain photos of the products would not convey how health-conscious and natural the product is, as it is crafted with the maker’s wishes in mind, who has had negative experiences with drug store beauty items due to their heavily chemical ingredients.
Use of raw ingredient items that are food and dried flowers to accentuate the artisanal and natural quality of the soaps.
Keeping the display minimal with the added objects against plain backgrounds to keep it poetic, natural and understated.

Since the soaps were heavily focused on giving the health benefits by being very natural and only using natural ingredients, the feeling of cleanliness, organic products, and au-natural were needed as a main idea. The main ingredients laid out to create almost a camouflage with the product shows a close association with the untouched, unprocessed nature to the products sold.
Customers can see what main ingredients they will be using to their body when bathing right when they see the photos of the products. Feelings of freshness, transparency, health, and even deliciousness are the desired outcome of choosing this concept.
The Solo-preneur was very happy, and the collaboration requests kept coming back!
The photographs were also used to populate social media.
