Unisearch produces a series of gas analysis devices and has cutting-edge technology and research-backed products in the market. To showcase what I can do to bring their information sheet on par with their product excellence, I created a sample work with a proposal for their branding direction.
Although my proposal did not generate any partnership with the company, I created a few sample brochure pages and a business card that correspond to the new design.
UniSearch’s gas analyzers are known for utilizing advanced laser technology to detect gases. It is their trade mark and strength to show off in the market. To express the cutting edge technology the company is known for and strive to achieve, I chose laser as a main concept to explore. The dynamic lines that oscillates in heights throughout the design express the characteristics of sharp laser beams. The lines also accompany colours. The four different main colors (broadly in two: yellow warm tones and blue cold tones) were extracted from the existing company’s website. Warm and vibrant yellow symbolizes the modern and friendly researchers doing all the human work to deliver the latest technology in the market. Complementing the warm yellow are the cold and light blues that symbolizes sciences and research. Darker navy color is variation of the mid tone blue that sets the tone of seriousness in the business of gas analyzers market as these devices are utilized all over the places (airport, factories, oil refineries, mines and so much more .) Typefaces were also extracted from the current website, a clean, modern san-serifs that have warm and humanistic rounded finishes.
Overall, the intended effect in design was to create a mood for innovation, sciences, research and modern– with a bit of light and playfulness of a being a human.
• Gas Analyzers and similar products are used in so many places.
• With the right combination of colours and shapes, one can express so much, for example, concepts on laser and modern yet humanistic technology behind machines.
